Waycross Early Voting

EARLY VOTING BEGINS OCT. 14 IN WAYCROSS

Early voting for the November 4, 2025 Municipal and Public Service Commission Elections begins October 14 at the Ware County Board of Elections, located at 408 Tebeau Street in Waycross.

Voters will be able to cast their ballots early from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, through October 31. Two Saturday voting days are also available — October 18 and October 25, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Local Races on the Ballot
Waycross voters will decide several city commission seats:

District 1: Shawn Roberts (Incumbent) and Willie Oliver

District 2: Ayana Moore, William Simmons, and Barry Worley

District 3: Katrena Felder (Incumbent), King Goree, and Shawn Sanders

District 4 (Special Election): Tim Peacock, Linda Slaughter-Titus, and William Tompkins

GA: Georgia Public Service Commission
Also on the ballot are two statewide races for the Georgia Public Service Commission (PSC), which regulates major utilities across the state — including electric and gas rates that directly affect household energy bills.

Voters will choose between candidates in Districts 2 and 3:

District 2: Tim Echols (R), Alicia Johnson (D), Lee Muns (R)

District 3: Fitz Johnson (R), Peter Hubbard (D)

What to Bring
Georgia law requires a valid photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID, or passport.

Absentee Voting
Absentee by mail voting runs from October 14 to October 31. Ballots must be received by 7 p.m. on Election Day, and the deadline to request one is October 24.
