Food Resource Guide During Snap Delays

Southeast Georgia Food Resource Guide

from G. L. Grobsmith

During the government shutdown, many families are facing food insecurity.

We’ve worked to put together a community list of local pantries, churches, and organizations that can help right now.

If you know of other food resources, updated hours, or phone numbers, comment below so we can keep this list current and help more people.

We’re all in this together — every update helps someone find food faster.

Quick Tips:

• Call ahead to confirm hours

• Bring ID or proof of residence if possible

• Arrive early — most are first-come, first-served

• If one location is closed, call 211 or visit feedingga.org for other options

• Budget SNAP and WIC benefits carefully during the shutdown

Please share this post so it reaches those who need it most.

If you know someone personally who’s struggling, send it directly to them.

We’ll keep doing everything we can for our community during this hard time.
